"In this piece, I’ve chosen the goldfinch as a symbol of joy, resilience, and perspective. The goldfinch, with its bright, vibrant plumage, represents both the fleeting beauty of nature and the enduring strength to adapt and thrive. The watercolor medium mirrors the fluidity and unpredictability of life, where experiences blend, shift, and create meaning over time. Through this vibrant portrayal, I invite viewers to reflect on how our perspective shapes the way we experience life’s moments, both light and dark. Just as the goldfinch finds its place in the world, we too can find grace and strength in our journey."
