"Butterflies come to me at the most pivotal moments in my life; they show up in person, on things and in my dreams. They represent powerful transformations through the life cycle. When I see one, I remind myself to take the moment in and to embrace the moment. This painting, "Freedom Flight" was an absolute joy and adventure to create and discover. I have never timed a creation, but I don’t think I have ever put as much hours, and love, into a piece. Her bright colors just make my heart happy, hope she brings happiness to you too."
